Sam is the owner/head coach at Ground Zero Strength, a Starting Strength Affiliate Gym in Twin Falls, Idaho. A former athlete and college baseball coach, he started his strength coaching career at a working part-time in a 24-Hour box gym and a local athletic performance training facility while trying to climb the college baseball coaching ranks. I started with Sam in the middle of June 2023. We’ve been at it 5 months now and I have no plans to stop any time soon. Everything is better. My mood, my strength, body composition. I couldn’t be more pleased.
Sam is very personable, patient, and has the ability to work very well with people’s shortcomings. I’ll admit it took me too long to figure some of the lifts, yet he never made me feel inadequate, and just kept up with the minor adjustments until things were correct.
I am 51 and wanted someone with some real knowledge to keep me from hurting myself while getting back into the gym after a 25 year hiatus. In the 5 months I’ve been working with him I’ve only gotten stronger and have had no injuries. I’ve gained 20ish pounds of mostly muscle since I started and my lifts are improving every week. Yes, I was a skinny little guy when I started, skinny fat if you will and my weight was under 155 lbs when I started, and as of today I’m at 175 at 5’10”.
I should have done this a long time ago.
Looking to get stronger? Look no further than Ground Zero Strength, a gym where empathy meets expertise, and results are the norm.
I came to Coach Sam a year and a half ago, 5 years out of the weightlifting game. My muscles were rusty, my confidence low. What I found at Ground Zero wasn’t just a gym, but a transformational experience.
Coach Sam is a master of his craft. He has an uncanny ability to connect with each client, regardless of age, background, or experience.
At Ground Zero, you’ll find 85-year-old lifters defying the odds, active teenagers building athletic prowess, and everyday individuals like me, chasing strength and health.
Coach Sam speaks the language of strength. He can break down complex movements into approachable steps, guiding you towards mastery.
My results speak for themselves. Since joining Ground Zero, I’ve seen dramatic increases in my strength and overall well-being.
But it’s not just about the iron. This gym is a community of like-minded individuals, supporting each other on the path to a stronger, healthier self.
Here are just a few reasons why I highly recommend Ground Zero:
– Expert coaching: Coach Sam’s personalized approach ensures you get the most out of your training.
– Diverse clientele: You’ll find inspiration at every turn, from seasoned veterans to eager newcomers.
– Welcoming environment: Stepping into Ground Zero feels like coming home.
– Unparalleled results: Get ready to push your limits and achieve your fitness goals.
Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a complete beginner, Ground Zero Strength has something for you. Coach Sam will equip you with the knowledge and tools you need to unlock your full potential.
