Anna Marie knows a few things about incorporating strength into a busy and fulfilling life. She is a homeschooling mother of five, a competitive powerlifter in the USPA, USAPL and Strengthlifting, 3 year BJJ student, and Sole Owner and Operator of AM Strength in Kalispell, MT.
Anna Marie is an excellent guide for women who want to continue training while pregnant. She PRd her deadlift while 32 weeks pregnant with her 5th child and trained the big lifts until the week her daughter was born. She was back to training again four weeks after her fastest, easiest labor and delivery.
Coaching a lifter through postpartum training calls for a very special skill set and level of trust that Anna Marie takes pride in establishing. She is a resource for any question or obstacle that may arise during this phase of life.
Her expertise is not limited to pregnant and postpartum women. She has experience coaching people from all walks of life, from competitive athletes to people recovering from knee or shoulder surgery to busy parents and grandparents who just want to be able to play with their kids or grandkids. She enjoys introducing new lifters to the world of getting stronger and helping individuals experience just how much strength affects every other aspect of their lives.
As a mom and gym owner, she understands the real-life demands of being a provider and the strength that is required to truly be there for a family. As a lifter and athlete herself, she understands the needs of the individual and how best to accommodate the ebb and flow of daily life.
Anna Marie offers in-person individual, group and couples sessions out of her fully-equipped home gym.

Annamarie is a fantastic strength training coach! I’ve been working with her in a group setting for a little over a year now and her knowledge and expertise in the industry has helped me grow in my fitness journey. Ive been able to acheive lifting numbers I never thought possible and she has inspired me to show up and work hard so I can acheive more. Strength training has not only helped me feel better in my body but more confident in myself and my abilities. Annamarie is personably and has been a great coach and mentor. I will continue to use her services and highly recommend her if you are looking for a strength training coach. She is 10/10
I first started with Anna Marie over 5 years ago. I knew I wanted to get strong and I was lucky enough to be paired with her. She has helped me get stronger than I ever thought I could, helped me rehab a rotator cuff and biceps tendon reattachment surgery all while being so attentive and easy to work with! I can’t say enough good things about her as a coach and person! I’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a strength coach.
I’ve been working with Annmarie for a year now. I had no experience in lifting and definitely no confidence! She pushes me to be the best that I can be. She knows what she is doing and cares deeply about her clients. I’ve never been one to workout and now I’m addicted to her class. It’s hard but I’ve grown so much and I am doing things I never thought I could do and I wouldn’t want to do it with any other coach!
Anna Marie has been my coach both in person and online for about 8 years now and I wouldn’t have it any other way. She is very knowledgeable and always strives for success and greatness for her clients. She takes notes of any issues going on in the lives of her lifters and programs accordingly. I’ve known Anna Marie for 8 years and have also had her as my personal coach. She is a wealth of information! She has a quick eye and is able to communicate simply and clearly to her clients. I’ve had a few lifting coaches over the years and her style of communication was hands down the most clear and helpful out of them all. Her knowledge of the body and mechanics of lifting was always present and would spill over into her reviews with clients in an effortless way. I learned so much from her and she was always so gracious to answer questions and explain things further even outside of a coaching relationship. She clearly loves her job and people! She is also a crazy correct judge of RPE. I was forever and always undershooting my RPE and somehow she always knew I had more in the tank and got me to a PR I swore I didn’t have in me. I would recommend her to anyone!
