Quinn has been a Starting Strength Coach since 2025 and is the head coach of Starting Strength Miami. He also holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in exercise science from East Stroudsburg University of Pennsylvania.
Quinn discovered Starting Strength while working as a strength and conditioning intern at a prestigious D1, Power 5 university. His concerns about the effectiveness and efficiency of the university’s strength and conditioning program were confirmed through a few videos featuring Mark Rippetoe. Since then, he has integrated Starting Strength’s principles into the training of his athletes, clients, family, and his own training.
When Quinn learned that a Starting Strength gym was opening in Miami, where his family resides, he immediately sought an apprenticeship position.
Quinn has coached athletes at multiple Power 5 universities and high schools in several states but has never felt more fulfilled in his work than he does now as a coach for Starting Strength.
